It’s now February, which means we’re getting into a semester of super exciting productions.
This Week: Vernon God Little
This week in the Winston Theatre is Vernon God Little, a play with a number of songs (aka surprise musical), that has an interesting moving set and lots to do in the world of sound. There’ll be painting and wallpapering to undertake from 13:00 Wednesday 3rd, and room for multiple radio mic techs for each of the performances. If this is of interest, feel free to turn up or email [email protected]
Next Week: West Side Story and Sleeping Around
Next week in the Winston will be a busy first week of building for West Side Story, MTB’s main musical for the year. There’ll be lots of scaffolding to construct, a sound system to calibrate and lights to rig. Email [email protected] for more info.
In the Pegg will be Spotlights’ production of Sleeping Around. This is looking to be a production that makes full use of the Pegg as a space, with audiences being immersed into the performance. Email [email protected] for more info.
Crewing: PantoSoc’s Goldilocks
We are looking for people to crew PantoSoc’s production of Goldilocks in the Pegg from 5th-13th March. The roles to fill are: Stage Manager, Chief Electrician / Lighting Designer, Sound Engineer. Being a PantoSoc production, there are many wonderful traditions that you’ll become a part of, laughs throughout and it’ll be a great way to get involved. If you’re interested or would like more information about any of the roles, email [email protected]
Hope to see you soon!
