First off, thank you to all who came along to our Welcome Event yesterday evening. It was great to see so many new faces, and hopefully many of you will stick around through this year and beyond! 😀
Our next couple of events are a pair of Winston Theatre Opening Evenings, the first today (Tuesday 29th September) and the second on Thursday (1st October). Each will run from 6-10pm, and act as drop-in sessions – feel free to turn up for as much or as little of the evening as you like.
There will be a range of practical workshops to participate in, allowing you to obtain hands-on experience with the sort of things we do. This will range from mixing a multitrack recording of the Bristol Hornstars on one of our sound desks, to undertaking further exploration of the Winston, to seeing how lights can be set up on our many lighting bars.
The first major show of the year is TRASh, which we will start on in earnest on Sunday. More info will be provided nearer the time.
